They exist inside a world entirely of their own making, one where the modern pressures of romance and dating no longer apply because they have each other. And that is enough. Right? But when the outside world begins to creep in, their all-consuming bond is quietly put to the test, forcing both women to confront what it really means to grow up, grow apart, and redefine intimacy. Razor-sharp, funny and devastatingly familiar, Miriam Battye’s electric three-hander captures the strange comedy and quiet heartbreak of modern connection, where friendship can feel like romance, independence can feel like performance, and everyone is just trying (and failing) to appear like they have it together.
